Celebrate the season at Learning Fresh with a festive camp that builds real English skills.
This is not “just Christmas crafts”. FreshEnglish Santa’s Camp is a carefully designed, Reggio Emilia-inspired studio experience where children create, explore, and collaborate while our educators explicitly teach the language, reading, and writing skills that matter.

Class Experience
Holiday magic, with measurable progress. Your child will leave camp with:
- Stronger speaking confidence (clearer sentences, better storytelling, richer vocabulary)

Juniors (4–7) - Phonics and sound play (blending, segmenting, early spelling patterns)
- Handwriting and letter formation (strength, control, correct habits)
- Sentence building (oral rehearsal, simple sentence frames, labelling and captions)
- Listening and comprehension (sequencing, retelling, answering with evidence)
Masters (7–12) - Vocabulary precision (stronger word choice, descriptive language, “upgrade” words)
- Structured writing (paragraphing, cohesion, editing and proofreading)
- Reading for meaning (inference, character motives, cause and effect)
- Presentation and oracy (speaking clearly, explaining process, persuasive language)
Reggio-inspired Atelier Learning - Child-led inquiry: children plan, test, redesign, and improve
- Collaboration: roles, teamwork language, negotiation and problem-solving talk
- Documentation: children capture steps, reflect, and curate their work
The programme schedule offers:
+ Half Day and Full Day creative program from 9.30am -1.30pm & 9.30am-3.30pm
+ Outdoor play and field trips to local galleries (weather dependent)

Sample Class Format
A calm rhythm with clear learning blocks
- Welcome and Morning Circle (Oracy): vocabulary of the day, speaking cues, goal-setting
- Literacy Block (Explicit): phonics or spelling patterns, reading for meaning, writing mini-lesson
- Atelier Studio Time (Reggio): project work, making, building, experimenting
- Documentation and Reflection: photo captions, process talk, portfolio entries
- Outdoor play and movement break (weather dependent)
- Sharing and Showcase: children present what they made and what they learned
Santa’s Workshop Fun
Across the camp, children will take part in seasonal projects such as:
Festive, hands-on, and purposeful - Baking and food projects (sequencing, instruction writing, vocabulary)
- Building challenges (North Pole engineering, maker tasks)
- Gift-making and design (planning, drafting, improving, presenting)
- Storytelling and theatre (scripts, performance, speaking confidence)
- Handmade wrapping, ornaments, and studio crafts (with captions and reflection)
